The ship is about to sail! The boat is filling nicely, but there is definitely room for more. I am really excited by the number of people who have chosen to be a part of the through the Bible journey in 2012. God promises to be found by those who seek Him with all their hearts. I can’t wait to find Him with you day after day in His Word.

NIV – I grew up with this translation. The passages I have memorized are in the NIV as well. Tough to teach an old dog…

My first Bible was the Revised Standard Version. It has hardly any highlights or comments. My Grandma Morris, a Seven day Adventist, held the Bible in respect and reverance, so we Did NOT write in it or set anyting on top of it.
The NIV is my favaorite now and it has markings all over it.

I have the English Standard Version on my Daily Bible app, and have been looking into the one that John Harrell preaches from (Holcomb is it?) but my study Bible is NIV, and like Chad, most all the verses I have memorized are from NIV. I think I’ll stick with that.
