Proverbs 11:22 (NIV)
Like a gold ring in a pig’s snout
is a beautiful woman who shows no discretion.
No pigs at our house (except for our Pug Cleo who snorts like a pig). I am blessed in that my wife is a beautiful woman who possesses an incredible ability to recognize and speak Truth. Many times when we have faced situations that at first glance were cloudy, she is the one who centers us with the question, “What do we know to be true?” That question illustrates her ability to provide wisdom and discretion. She is a rich treasure.
Like the Apostle Paul, I want more than anything to know Christ (Phil. 3:10). I do not want to simply know about Him. I want to know Him-- personally, intimately, and experientially. It is not enough for me to hear about Him. I want to see Him with my own eyes.

When I think of Christy, and her speech, I think of ‘Words to live by’. A treasure indeed, for all of us. 🙂

What a wonderful compliment to our daughter. She is so wonderful and wise! Love that about her.
