Here is today’s Bible reading: 1 Chronicles 15:1-16:36; Romans 1:18-32; Psalm 10:1-15; Proverbs 19:6-7.

Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.
I wonder if God has “given us over” as a nation to our depraved thinking. Ultimately, we will reap what we sow.
Like the Apostle Paul, I want more than anything to know Christ (Phil. 3:10). I do not want to simply know about Him. I want to know Him-- personally, intimately, and experientially. It is not enough for me to hear about Him. I want to see Him with my own eyes.

I never knew that Ethan was a biblical name. I Chronicles 15:17 and 19 and he plays the cymbals. Both of our grandsons have Biblical names. That just made my day!
