I got to talk to Zac Cannon Friday. Zac and I served together at FBC Ojai. He had a profound impact on the spiritual development of my kids. What a great reminder Friday was of just how God has gifted me over the years with so many amazing ministry teammates. Apparently God knows I need lots of help and He has always provided the best. I am grateful.
Like the Apostle Paul, I want more than anything to know Christ (Phil. 3:10). I do not want to simply know about Him. I want to know Him-- personally, intimately, and experientially. It is not enough for me to hear about Him. I want to see Him with my own eyes.

How fortunate Mary and I were to be at FBCO with Zac and you, Chad. You had such a great influence on Mary and me in your preaching. Amazing how she wanted water baptism for herself which you did on Easter Sunday. And she was in her 80’s! Think often as I memorize scriptures which brings so many, many memories of our time we spent specifically in James. God’s very best to both of you!
