Got to hang out with my friend Ivan at the Ormond Beach power plant where he works. Very impressive.  Thanks Ivan for keeping the lights on and keeping everybody there safe.

I have always been mesmerized by the beautiful yet destructive nature of tornadoes.  If I weren’t a pastor, meteorologist/storm chaser might be a chosen career path.  This book takes you into the funnel of one of the largest tornadoes ever recorded and into the lives of the people who experienced it in Moore, Oklahoma, where tornadoes have become a way of life.  If you are a weather junkie, you won’t be able to put it down.

a. Lecture her on slowing down.

b. Calculate the cost of the ticket and increase in insurance rates.

c. Remember that she is a better driver than you are.

d. Thank God that it was just a ticket and not an accident.

e. Use it as a teachable moment with your teenage drivers.

f. Reflect on the fact that she got the ticket executing the responsibilities of her 2nd job that she works faithfully to meet the financial needs of the family.
