Leading With a Limp by Dan B. Allender, PhD
“The difference between a manager and a leader is the internal urge to alter the status quo to create a different world. In that sense leaders are prophets. They see the present as incomplete and inadequate and are willing to risk the comfort of the present for the promise of a better tomorrow. A manager, on the other hand, is content to keep the organization running as smoothly and as efficiently as it can function. A manager serves to keep the plane in the air, whereas a leader wants to put a new engine on the plane midair (58).”

Love the color. It looks so warm and inviting. Still longing to come. Would be fun to come for Josh’s 13th birthday. Hummmm?

Chad, at last I can catch up (have been through your mom), I like reading your blogs.
I have been reading (again) Linda Dillow’s book “Calm My Anxious Heart”. A great book for women and for those going through some very anxious times….sure has helped me to focus on the things that are truly important.

The house looks so beautiful! And it’s exactly the color we used when we first painted our home 35 years ago! Larry is currently in the process of preparing our house for a new paint job… so overdue! Hopefully, whatever colors we choose, it will turn out as nice as your house
