Like the Apostle Paul, I want more than anything to know Christ (Phil. 3:10). I do not want to simply know about Him. I want to know Him-- personally, intimately, and experientially. It is not enough for me to hear about Him. I want to see Him with my own eyes.

Chad, I have a picture of Jesus holding a young girl in His arms. It was a small picture someone took off line, then my brother painted a larger one of the same and framed it for me. It hung in my office for years. It helped me so much in mentoring and in teaching the women I worked with.
I do miss ministry, but then ministry is life and the way we live not in being a staff memeber.
