a. Lecture her on slowing down.
b. Calculate the cost of the ticket and increase in insurance rates.
c. Remember that she is a better driver than you are.
d. Thank God that it was just a ticket and not an accident.
e. Use it as a teachable moment with your teenage drivers.
f. Reflect on the fact that she got the ticket executing the responsibilities of her 2nd job that she works faithfully to meet the financial needs of the family.

Like the Apostle Paul, I want more than anything to know Christ (Phil. 3:10). I do not want to simply know about Him. I want to know Him-- personally, intimately, and experientially. It is not enough for me to hear about Him. I want to see Him with my own eyes.

Love her and assure her it could happen to any of us – especially her Mom! Mine was a lot more than that. Yes teachable moments!

My vote, use it as a teachable moment, of identificational repentance to your teenagers, and reflectively honor it happened in the course of her seeking to bless the family financially, and thank God it was a ticket not an accident, and with her permission use it as a sermon illustration than none of us keep the law perfectly.
