We live in the woods. It looks like Fall. It smells like Fall. It feels like Fall. So, why must my wife buy decorations reminding us that it is indeed–Fall?

Like the Apostle Paul, I want more than anything to know Christ (Phil. 3:10). I do not want to simply know about Him. I want to know Him-- personally, intimately, and experientially. It is not enough for me to hear about Him. I want to see Him with my own eyes.

Seasonal decorating helps you get your home ready for the season, keep it clean, and celebrate Gods creation of time and seasons.

I get it. Especially in California where the seasons are not so dramatic. Decorations help to delineate and celebrate. But our seasons here have lots of drama. I will be raking this drama for the next month.
