We live in the woods. It looks like Fall. It smells like Fall. It feels like Fall. So, why must my wife buy decorations reminding us that it is indeed–Fall?

I love that piece!! The corrugated metal for letters is so cool! I bought 3 more ceramic pumpkins this week 🙂 (we just like it, no questions asked)

Why? I’ll tell you why…seasonal changing of decorations in the home reflect the seasons outside and changing seasons are a perfect reason to change the decor inside your home. This helps to keep your home from becoming boring, shows investment of time and love into the the home and allows your family to fully embrace all the benefits each season has to offer. Seasonal decorating helps you get your home ready for the season, keep it clean, and celebrate Gods creation of time and seasons.

I get it. Especially in California where the seasons are not so dramatic. Decorations help to delineate and celebrate. But our seasons here have lots of drama. I will be raking this drama for the next month.
